Lisa Nolan 

 

Over the past 10 years Lisa has fostered the successful commercialsation of broad range of early stage IT, environmental and biotech companies. In helping her clients drive growth and maximize shareholder value Lisa has driven the completion of a wide variety of successful assignments, including international joint ventures, regional distribution partnerships, strategic acquisitions and capital raisings in Asia-Pacific and Australia.  In addition to advising companies on implementation of local and international growth strategies, Lisa has focused on working with companies to improve their readiness to access debt, equity and grant funding. Based on her extensive network within the Business angels and private equity markets she has raised in-excess of AUD $25.0m over the past 5 years. Playing a hand on role with innovative companies, she is been engaged as the Commercialisation Manager with a number of technology businesses. She is a Director of Recovery Station, Strategon Capital and Strategon Asia. Damian Chown 

DKCPicture_30.jpgDamian has assisted a significant number of companies during his 16-year career as a management consultant to improve their profitability and build shareholder wealth.   Advising companies from start-up business planning to rigorously working with Managing Directors of public companies to build shareholder wealth, Damian positions himself as an integral component of a business’s strategic planning environment. Prior to starting Strategon, Damian’s career included six years in the Corporate Recovery Services as a manager with Arthur Andersen.

Damian has experience in:

  • Facilitating and managing large scale strategic planning exercises utilising well recognised consultancy models including detailed financial modelling.
  • Providing corporate advisory services to progress private companies through the capital raising maze to arrive at public ownership or trade sale. This includes facilitating the raising of equity.

Wendy Taylor is an organization development specialist with 20 years experience in both public and private sector employment and consulting at senior levels. She focuses on the development of workforce capability and alignment with business strategy. Before joining Strategon Russell founded and sold a successful boutique winery. Prior to this spent 14 years in investment banking in Australia, Hong Kong and the United States.

Yoko Kloeden

Yoko has over 10 years of strategy experience in the area of new market entry, new product/service launch, and investment execution, specializing in technology. She has led and advised cross-cultural and cross-functional teams performing business development and investment execution in Singapore, Toronto, and Moscow.

Yoko's core skills include competitive analysis, strategic planning, and business due diligence. Through her extensive international exposure, Yoko has delivered projects in a wide range of countries and cultures, in both developing and developed markets.

Krista Moore

Krista has over 10 years experience in sales and marketing within the Technology and Telecommunications space. Her work has comprised of developing go-to-market strategies through indirect channel development, direct business development and account management, as well as developing, executing and managing all areas of the marketing mix in key markets such as Australia, Europe and Asia.

Her core focus has been in the area of CRM. Krista has project managed two major in-house CRM implementations which included the business needs analysis, change management, implementation, user testing  and staff training, as well as being the product manager for an in-house developed and used eMarketing Solution. As a result Krista has strong CRM market knowledge; what drives CRM purchase decisions; key stakeholders; what messages work when targeted to different audiences depending on their demographic and stage in their customer lifecycle; and achieve successful campaign ROI

Paul Cuthbert-Brown

Paul’s core focus is on the environmental and cleantech market sectors. Over the last three years he has been an angel investor investing in and developing a portfolio of leading edge technologies. In this role he has worked with management teams to ensure the successful commercialisation of the portfolio.

Prior to joining Strategon Paul was a partner in Creo Capital, a well known Asia focused hedge fund. He worked at Lehman Brothers for 12 years and was Chief Administrative Officer of the firm’s Asia region for 8 years to 2006. As a member of the 5 person executive committee for Asia he had direct management responsibility for all support & control functions including regulatory and risk management functions, and served on the firm’s global Corporate Management Committee. Appetite for Success (AFS) is a national award winning personal & professional development program for cooks & chefs & others in the hospitality industry.  

Strategon in collaboration with TAFE SA are extending the AFS Program into NSW & Queensland.  

Strategon will be partnering with Sunshine Coast TAFE, along with Sydney and North Sydney Institutes to implement AFS in 2010.  We've also got negotiations underway in others locations around Australian and overseas.
